We aim to collect and process only what is needed to operate a secure lightweight chat service.
- Account information, such as email or phone number, nickname, avatar, invite status, and sign-in state.
- Messaging data, such as contacts, conversations, message content, images, files, delivery states, and read states.
- Device, log, and safety data, such as device type, IP-derived network information, request logs, error logs, and abuse prevention signals.
- Support and report data, such as descriptions, screenshots, contact details, and handling records you submit.
How we use information
We use information to make the product work, keep accounts secure, respond to users, and reduce abuse.
- Create and maintain accounts, contacts, conversations, and message delivery.
- Support image and file upload, access, search, unread reminders, and browser side-panel sync.
- Detect abnormal sign-in, spam, automated abuse, malicious uploads, and service attacks.
- Handle support requests, reports, appeals, account deletion requests, and legal obligations.
Retention and your choices
We retain information only as long as needed for the beta service, safety, legal, support, and operational purposes.
- You can update profile information in the product where supported.
- You can request account deletion through the account deletion page or support email.
- Some safety, audit, dispute, or legal records may be retained for a limited period after account deletion.
